Nearly 30 high school students from the Amis, Atayal, Seediq, Paiwan and Truku peoples visited the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Auckland. Taoyuan Principals Visit New Zealand to Strengthen International Cooperation

A New Chapter in Taiwan–New Zealand Education Exchange

Organised and coordinated by GoKiwis, a delegation of school principals from the Taoyuan City Government visited New Zealand and met with representatives of the New Zealand Ministry of Education for high-level discussions on educational cooperation.
The exchange focused on bilingual and international education, cultural connections between Taiwan and New Zealand, and New Zealand’s education system.
Through face-to-face discussions and professional exchange, the delegation gained a deeper understanding of New Zealand’s educational philosophy and teaching practices while exploring opportunities for future collaboration.

A New Milestone in Taiwan–New Zealand Education Exchange

Another Meaningful Step in International Education

GoKiwis accompanied students from Huey Deng High School on a visit to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Auckland, where they were welcomed by Director-General Chen Yung-Shao. The visit offered students an opportunity to experience international exchange beyond the classroom and to understand the support and connections available to Taiwanese students overseas. For GoKiwis, international education is about more than organising a trip. From pre-departure planning to local support in New Zealand, we aim to create meaningful and well-supported learning experiences while continuing to strengthen long-term educational connections between Taiwan and New Zealand.

Taoyuan City Education Department Strengthens Education Partnerships with New Zealand and Australia

Creating Pathways to Leading Universities Around the World

oKiwis worked with the Taoyuan City Education Department to expand international education pathways for senior secondary and vocational students through stronger connections with universities in New Zealand and Australia.
The exchange introduced students and educators to foundation programmes, university pathways and opportunities offered through the University of Auckland International College, while also exploring how students can pursue areas of academic interest and gain practical learning experience overseas.
Students from Taoyuan may explore international pathways during secondary school or progress to university foundation programmes in New Zealand and Australia after graduation.
